Topics: The European Summer School 2012 it titled 'Europe at the Crossroads' and will focus on the current political and economic situation in the European Union. In this context, different policies and perspectives of the EU will we examined in depths (e.g. defence, agriculture, home affairs, energy security, budget, democracy promotions). All teachers participating in ESS 2012 possess broad academic and practical experiences and will strive to emphasise the views of the Central European Countries (Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia) in the European Union. Participants of the ESS 2012 will be able to discuss and learn more about the political and economic challenges the EU is facing in the framework of new institutional structures.
