International Research Network of Young Historians
of European Integration (RICHIE)
RICHIE Network: Partnerships
RICHIE has given itself the aim of facilitating contacts between
young researchers of European history, and this throughout the
continent. In this perspective, we are developing partnerships with
associations that have similar goals. They are, for the moment:
- HEIRS (History of European Integration
Research Society): HEIRS is a postgraduate research network
designed to foster collaboration among postgraduate researchers across
Europe with an interest in European integration history. It aims to
provide academic exchange, training and learning programmes which build
on the work of existing academic institutions and bodies in the field,
and draw in a wide range of postgraduate students to focus on the
political, diplomatic, economic, cultural and other aspects of European
integration.

- RETE (Réseau des Étudiants pour l'Europe de
l'Institut des Hautes Études Européennes): RETE is an association
founded in November 2006 by a group of students and professors of the
"Institut des Hautes Études Européennes" (IHEE) of Robert Schuman
University (Strasbourg III). The RETE Association aims to reinforce the
internal links of the universities of the EU, opening to researchers,
teachers and public and private higher education institutions an
institutionalised crossroad where particular interests can be developed
together, with the aim to push forward the interest of the community.

- A group of PhD students from the International History Department
of the LSE (London School of Economics) have created an online
guide to archives throughout the world (http://www.archivesmadeeasy.org).
We strongly encourage all researchers to consult this site and
contribute to its growth, either by adding new and more up to date
information, or by adding new reports to the database!
