Hello, I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Bologna, currently visiting at Brown. My research focuses on the crisis in the transatlantic relations during the 1970s, with a specific focus on the Yom Kippur War and the ensuing oil crisis, and, on the European side, on the search for common stances relating to these issues. So far, I consulted the Nixon Presidential Materials at the National Archives in College Park and the Council on Foreign Relations collection at Princeton. I am planning to visit as well the Gerald Ford library in Ann Arbor, and to consult the State Department Material at the National Archives and maybe the oral history collection at Georgetown University in Washington. I welcome any suggestions for more primary sources that could be of interest, or for any book that you consider important on this topic.
