Information Newsletter on the History of the European Construction
Europa is a newsletter that aims to spread information about all aspects of the European construction. It includes the following sections:
- Opinions: articles suggesting new fields of research, thought pieces, historiographical debates;
- Archives: latest news on archives relating to the European Construction (new documents open to the public, description of archives, of research centres);
- Work in Progress: a presentation of research in progress or recently completed (MA, MPhil, Or PhD dissertation);
- Reviews: offers reviews of recent books dealing with European construction (authors being obviously solely responsible for the views expressed in these articles.
All contributions are welcome. Articles can be written in english or french. Please send your pieces to Christophe Le Dréau and Émilia Robin Hivert.
Call for papers: "the European soul"
We are planning for next June a special issue of this Richie Europa Newsletter. It will focus on the idea of an «European soul» and the search for a common European identity. As an opening article, Tamara Ehs (university of Vienna, Austria) will offer a methodological and bibliographical introduction to the thema. After this, we expect to offer a survey of the current research on that topic (PhD in progress or recently completed).
