The First Richie conference took place in the Sorbonne on 31st March and Sciences-Po on 1st April. 35 PhD students or young doctors from 14 countries made short presentations about their research. This gave the opportunity to outline a large picture of current research on the history of European integration. This exceptional conference, organised for and by young researchers, was made possible thanks to the support of prestigious professors and institutions.

A report on the conference has been published in the review Vingtième Siècle, Revue d'Histoire (november 2005), and the acts of the conference have been published in september 2006 (Peter Lang).
