International Research Network of Young Historians
of European Integration (RICHIE)
In order to continue the debates started during the Paris conference in April 2005, and to allow for more direct exchanges between young researchers working on the history of European integration, the Richie network extends its activities by setting up thematic workshops:
Each group will determine its timetable and the nature of its activities. For further information, check their own pages and contact their animators.

Workshops with a difference...
We have all been through boring research seminars, with no real debate... We want to create original, efficient and worthwhile workshops:
- Original: our workshops must not duplicate existing seminars.
- Worthwhile: a workshop must contribute to the personal reflection of each PhD student, concrete elements (such as bibliography, call for papers) to their research. Moreover, preparing a presentation, even brief, is a powerful stimulant.
- Efficient: internet ressources will be used to facilitate collective work: creation of a limited mailing list, dedicated sections on our web site to host work documents, summaries of meetings, articles, or even discussion forums.
